Who We Are at International Relations UNSIKA
History
The International Relations Study Program was officially established on 9 January 2020 under the Decree of the Ministry of Education No. 8/M/2020. As the youngest study program within the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, it was founded to respond to the growing need for internationally minded graduates capable of addressing contemporary global challenges.
Identity
Rooted within the Department of Political Science, the program combines rigorous social science perspectives with interdisciplinary approaches to international affairs. It emphasizes critical thinking, global awareness, and academic excellence while fostering integrity and sustainability as core institutional values.
Positioning
Located in Karawang, Indonesia's industrial heartland, the program offers a distinctive academic environment where global issues intersect with regional transformation. This unique context inspires our identity as "Global Affairs from Indonesia's Industrial Heartland."
Future Direction
Looking ahead, the program is committed to preparing graduates with expertise in International Security, International Political Economy, and Transnational Society. Through education, research, and community engagement, we strive to contribute to sustainable development while strengthening Indonesia's role in global affairs.
